Richmond Sports Wall of Fame
In 2005, Richmond Sports Council proposed to the City that Richmond institute a Sports Hall of Fame to celebrate the successes and contributions of members of the Richmond sports community to our city. This dream came to fruition in 2015 through the "Richmond Sports Wall of Fame" at the Olympic Oval.

"The Richmond Sports Wall of Fame is an opportunity to celebrate the history of sport in Richmond by providing a focal point for the community to recognize the achievements of past athletes, teams, builders and officials of sport in Richmond".

Sports Council is the overseeing body for the Nominating Committee, which is made up of four Sports Council nominees and a City Councillor. We encourage Richmond's sport community to nominate its members deserving of this recognition. The nomination deadline is December 31st each year. Click for the Nomination Form

Stop the Presses!!!
